  Caring for your aging Parents This blog is designed to be a resource for the busy adult child of an aging parent. My mother’s health was a slow decline. About 5 years ago it became obvious she could not juggle and manage her life with out a little assistance. Vicki (my mother) had lived with a lot of health issues and had manage oxygen delivery, portable oxygen for travel management, taking about 30 meds a day, and keeping an active social life. Mom was officially diagnosed with lung disease, heart failure and kidney failure. She was diabetic also. Somehow, she managed to get everywhere she wanted but she slowly started needing more help. Her decline was about a seven-year decent. My desire is to help people like myself who just need resources and ways to think outside the box. For educational purposes, I will focus on the last 3 years as the decline was faster and more help was needed. Financially, my mother was in the unfortunate spot of not bringing in enough money for...
